Product & care
Treat your MOVIQ leggings well and they'll keep their shape, compression, and built-in resistance for the long haul. Follow these steps after every wear.
Wash
- Machine wash cold with similar colors, turned inside out.
- Use a mild detergent. No fabric softener, bleach, or whiteners — they break down the technical fibers that drive recovery and resistance.
- Wash with smooth, like fabrics. Keep them away from zippers, hook-and-loop (Velcro), and rough textures that can snag the peached finish.
- Wash after each wear to refresh the fabric and preserve stretch.
Dry
- Hang to dry for the longest lifespan — this is the single biggest thing you can do to protect resistance and recovery.
- If you must machine dry, use the lowest tumble setting and remove promptly. High heat damages elastane and degrades the built-in resistance over time.
- Do not iron.
- Do not dry clean.
Store
- Fold and store flat. Hanging by the waistband can stretch it out over time.
- Store away from direct sunlight to prevent fade.
Make them last
- Rotate between pairs if you wear them daily — recovery time between wears helps the fabric bounce back.
- Avoid sitting on rough surfaces (concrete, unfinished wood, exposed Velcro on gym equipment) that can pill or snag the surface.
- Spot-clean small marks instead of running a full wash cycle when you can.
A note on color
Darker colorways may release a small amount of dye in the first few washes — this is normal. Wash separately from light fabrics the first two cycles.
Questions?
If something isn't behaving the way you expected — fabric pilling, waistband loosening, resistance feeling different — get in touch. We stand behind every pair.
